Not all extraction is equal — pulling water off a surface and actually removing it from carpet pad, subfloor, and wall cavities are different jobs entirely. Our Water Extraction crews do the second one.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
We'd rather explain the water extraction process clearly upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
We test multiple points across the affected area before calling extraction complete.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
The quote reflects the actual square footage and severity, not a per-gallon meter running up.
Every part of water extraction work below carries the same documentation standard, whether it's a small job or a larger one.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
We adjust technique for engineered versus solid hardwood, since they respond differently to moisture.
Pad gets extracted independently from the carpet surface, since it retains water far longer.
Slab surfaces absorb and release moisture on a different timeline than wood subfloor.
We flag salvageable contents before starting so you're not guessing what to keep.
A final moisture sweep confirms target levels were actually reached before we leave.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
A real person answers, asks a few fast questions, and routes the nearest available crew.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Water Extraction jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
The assessment sets the whole plan, so we don't rush it even when the visible damage looks minor.
Work continues until the job meets our documented completion standard, verified before we call it done.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"They pulled water from between our hardwood boards without warping them further, which I honestly didn't think was possible."
Jasper L., South Boston"Our office flooded overnight and extraction was finished before staff walked in for the morning shift."
Rosalind P., South Boston"No hidden per-gallon charges — the quote held exactly."
Micah S., South Boston"They extracted from behind built-in cabinetry without damaging the cabinets themselves, which I honestly hadn't expected them to manage."
Fernanda Q., South Boston"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., South BostonThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Our water extraction coverage spans 2127, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying South Boston address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
Service boundaries are based on realistic response time, not an arbitrary line on a map.
